Functionality is the key to successful infrastructure

The OCD has been commissioned to design a new regional wholesale market to be located on the periphery of Melbourne. The project will meet the ever-growing requirements of wholesale produce entering the city. The scale and nature of the project requires a bold and active way-finding approach on a large scale to assist traders and workers to navigate the site, while also providing a sense of arrival into the main market hall located centrally within the site.
